Site Investigation/Remediation

Determining the need for, and scope of, environmental remediation requires quality data.  But to avoid high costs, only necessary data should be gathered.  Balancing these competing goals requires technically astute personnel who have experienced a wide variety of situations.  TriAD offers that experience.

Whether investigating sites under CERCLA, RCRA, UST, brownfields, or state voluntary programs, TriAD deploys a full range of methodologies from simple surface water sampling to complex geophysical surveys complemented by exploratory drilling programs.  We have performed dye traces, soil-gas surveys, multi-media investigations, aquifer testing, groundwater modeling and more to provide the level of site characterization needed to support risk- and cost-based remedial decisions.  Our personnel are familiar with U.S. EPA investigative guidance and have the expertise to modify the procedures to meet site-specific conditions.

TriAD has performed environmental remediation under RCRA, CERCLA, UST, TSCA, and state voluntary programs.  Some of these services are described in more detail on our Hazardous Waste page, but they include traditional dig-and-haul and pump-and-treat methods, as well as more innovative in-situ bioremediation, soil-vapor extraction, soil stabilization/solidification, phytoremediation, and biopile technologies.

TriAD is a State of Tennessee approved UST corrective action contractor and we are well qualified to perform UST notifications, release and initial abatement reporting, initial site characterization studies, and preparation and implementation of corrective actions.  We also provide oversight services for UST removal, cleaning, and disposal.
