Air Quality Scientist

TriAD is seeking an Air Quality Scientist for employment in the Nashville TN office. As an Air Quality Scientist, you will have the opportunity to support the development and implementation of environmental compliance and management solutions for our clients. In this position you will conduct air permitting for Title V Major and Minor Sources, perform emission calculations, conduct air quality compliance audits, perform air dispersion modeling, evaluate compliance with permit conditions and applicable regulations, review State and Federal regulations, assist with the quality of deliverables, schedule and budget.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience in the air quality field;
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental, Chemical or Civil Engineering, Environmental Technology, Environmental Science/Health, Natural Resources, Meteorology, or related degree, from a 4-year accredited college or university;
  • Possess strong Excel/Word competency and technical writing abilities.
  • Accuracy, dependability and strong organizational skills;
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to manage multiple assignments at any given time;
  • Demonstrate client service skills, including ability to support environmental air compliance/permitting projects and internally within other lines of businesses.
  • Possess a background in operational compliance, including understanding of air sources, air pollution control technologies, and interaction with facility functions such as operations, maintenance, instrumentation and engineering, process safety, etc.
  • Must have demonstrated team-oriented approach to problem-solving and have strong interpersonal skills for contact with clients and fellow engineers and technicians.

Civil/Environmental Engineer

TriAD is seeking civil and environmental engineers (0-10 years experience) to assist in the design and development of environmental-related plans, specifications, and permit application documents. Occasional field work and travel will be required.  For entry level positions, a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering is required; successful completion of the FE Exam is preferred. Tennessee Professional Engineering Registration required for licensed professionals. Excellent communication skills required.

Civil 3D CADD Designer 

TriAD is seeking an AutoCAD Civil 3D Designer with 0-5 years experience.  Must be proficient in both AutoCAD and Civil 3D.  

Project Geologist

TriAD is seeking geologists with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and 5 to 10 years of experience to manage and perform the following types of projects:

  • Groundwater sampling and reporting
  • Contaminated soil investigation and reporting
  • Comprehensive hydrogeologic investigations
  • Phase I and II environmental site assessments
  • Vapor intrusion investigations

The ideal candidate will be a registered professional geologist and will have experience performing multi-media sampling in accordance with US EPA protocols, supervising drilling investigations, evaluating environmental sampling data (including performing statistical analyses), and preparing reports. Experience with RCRA, CERCLA, UST, and solid waste regulations is desired. Field work and some travel required. Excellent writing and communication skills are necessary to be successful in this position.

Staff Geologist

TriAD is seeking geologists with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and 2 to 5 years of experience to assist with the following types of projects:

  • Groundwater sampling and reporting
  • Contaminated soil investigation and reporting
  • Comprehensive hydrogeologic investigations
  • Phase I and II environmental site assessments
  • Vapor intrusion investigations

Administrative

TriAD is seeking an Administrative professional with (0-3 years’ experience). Essential tasks include review, assembly, and submission of reports; handling incoming calls; file system management; supply inventory; mailings; and other miscellaneous employee support services. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
